It was founded in 1897 and has over 120 years of experience in the production of Grana Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano.

The company has always used the best available ingredients and state-of-the-art technology to guarantee a high standard of quality for its customers, customising the product as much as possible to their requirements. The company has always distinguished itself by paying close attention to changes in demand.

Always remaining faithful to the history and enhancement of traditional Italian aged cheeses, Saviola has several production plants in both the Grana Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano production areas.

As far as Grana Padano is concerned, the site in San Giovanni in Croce (CR), where the head office is located, represents the main production unit: here we find both the dairy and the packaging plant, divided into two parts: the first where the cheese is cut and portioned, and the second dedicated to the packaging of grated and bite-sized cheeses.

Saviola is also present in Fiorenzuola d'Arda (PC) with another dairy authorised to produce GRANA PADANO. In Parma, on the other hand, we are present with two production units in which the production and processing of Parmigiano Reggiano takes place. Internationalisation is another important goal achieved, Saviola Spa in fact operates in all European and international markets.
